About project Esc
Delivering a European summer camp for young people with IBD - we let them keep on dreaming
Our challenge
Living with our disease, sometimes children, teenagers, and young people with IBD can experience extra challenges in growing up and becoming adults. A loss of self-confidence, a sense of isolation, and disbelief in our own ability to achieve our dreams are some examples of problems that together we must solve.
Project ESC is an ambitious project from the EFCCA Youth Group (EYG), applying our knowledge and resources.
Our timeline
Project 'Esc' can be split into five steps:- Step 1: Research and initial organization
- Step 2: Organization of a summer camp for young adults
- Step 3: Organization of a summer camp for teenagers
- Step 4: Organization of a summer camp for children - the Catch your dreams camp
- Step 5: Assessment and expansion of the project
